Johnna Major has over 20 years of business and HR experience and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Cornerstone HR has successfully helped start up and early growth businesses with all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, talent management tools, employee handbooks and policies, compensation and benefit plans, and general HR compliance. Her clients value her understanding of HR, her passion for hiring great employees, as well as her practical approach to meeting the HR needs of a growing entrepreneurial business. Prior to founding Cornerstone HR, Johnna worked as the Chief HR Officer at Martin’s Point Health Care, Director of HR at GoFish.com, and Executive Director of the Maine Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Johnna graduated with Honors in Sociology from Bates College and is specially trained in strategic and operational planning processes, the ADKAR change management model, the Cape Cod Model for small organizational systems, and the Six Sigma methodologies for improving processes.
