Robert H. Flory, Jr. is President and COO of Flory Investments, Inc., a private investment company with offices in Damariscotta, Maine, and Paso Robles, California. The firm provides venture capital to companies that have developed, tested, and introduced a competitive product; demonstrated viable market penetration; adopted talented and ambitious management and are committed to the highest possible return on shareholder equity. The company’s securities investment focus is Community Banking. Additionally, Robert is the Chairman of Chemogen, an emerging biotechnology company focused on the development and commercialization of a novel and proprietary platform technology for the rapid diagnosis of infectious diseases. Mr. Flory is a 1971 graduate of Denison University with a B.A. in History. He has a M.Ed. from the University of Pittsburgh where he also completed Doctoral Studies in Educational Psychology and Research Methodology in 1980.
